First Friday Open Mic

Join us for our monthly First Friday open mic!

In efforts to bring in more of the arts into our building we began providing an affordable open mic night, every first Friday, for local families and creatives to enjoy. Art and music are critical for our youth. Whether they are exposed to art and music in school or through their community, the benefits are incredible. Art and music exposure does more than provide a creative outlet for kids; they provide mental, emotional, and educational benefits -- and more.

Our stage is open to performers of all ages, in which case every act must be family friendly. It's also important to cheer for everyone who takes the stage, in order to provide a positive and encouraging environment! Each performer receives video content of their performance on YouTube for them to share with their audience and 1 free hour of studio time at STEAMWorks's AudioWorks for each Hopeloft open mic show they perform at.

In addition to providing art and music for our community, all the proceeds earned at each Hopeloft open mic is donated back into our community by funding monthly service projects such as the 'PB&J Sandwiches for the Hungry', where we feed anywhere from 150-500 people a month.
